Y Live 2025: Two Nights, Two Icons, One Spectacular Production
On September 26–27, Youngstown’s Wean Park became the epicenter of live music as Y Live expanded to a two-night format.[1][2][3][4]
Setting the Stage
Fans packed the park for two distinct headliners—John Mayer on Friday and Tim McGraw on Saturday—plus an array of special guests and openers that broadened the sonic palette across both nights.[1][2][3]
Expanding to a two-day format was a great move by promoter JAC Live! and a major win for the community and local economy.[4]

Two Nights, Two Playbooks
Friday — John Mayer: Detail, Dynamics, Definition
Mayer’s set thrives on nuance—guitar articulation, vocal clarity, and dynamic range. We tuned the PA for detail and imaging, kept monitor mixes precise, and paired the LED wall with restrained camera direction so close-ups elevated the performance without overpowering it.
Saturday — Tim McGraw: Scale, Energy, Impact
McGraw’s stadium-country energy demanded wide, even coverage with a firm low-end foundation, bold color washes, and crowd-forward moments. Rapid scene changes moved the night from openers to headliner without losing momentum.
Thank You, Youngstown
Our thanks to JAC Live! for the vision and partnership, to the artists for unforgettable performances, and to the fans whose energy powered both nights. Producing back-to-back shows with distinct creative needs is a team sport—this weekend proved what’s possible when everyone pulls in the same direction.
