Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 Rolls into Struthers, Ohio
History arrived under full steam when Union Pacific’s legendary Big Boy No. 4014 made a whistle stop in downtown Struthers, Ohio, on July 12, 2026.
The visit was part of Union Pacific’s Coast-to-Coast Tour celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Big Boy No. 4014 is the world’s largest operating steam locomotive and the only operational Big Boy remaining.
The City of Struthers turned downtown into a community celebration with live entertainment, vendors, activities and thousands of visitors from across the Youngstown and Mahoning Valley region.
